October 2025 Mobile Platform Security & Fraud Prevention Assessment

Google commissioned Leviathan Security Group to evaluate fraud protection features on current Android and iOS devices. The assessment focused on built-in fraud safeguards for both physical and digital security along with advanced fraud prevention measures. We performed a similar study earlier this year on previous generation devices.

In the current assessment, we tested four devices on the T-Mobile network: the Google Pixel 10 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro, Samsung Z Fold 7, and Razr+ 2025. Over the course of a month, we evaluated the devices' fraud prevention and security features available to consumers.
