Work Alongside Great People
At Leviathan, the world’s most talented risk management and security consultants are shaping the future of information security.
Who We Hire
We hire excellence. Our employees speak at conferences around the world, write industry-critical open source security software, perform boundary-pushing research, and are featured contributors to security standards, industry podcasts, and review boards.
Located in Stunning Seattle
We are located in one of the fastest growing economic boom towns of all time. With stunning topography and an endless list of must-do's, the Seattle experience is a magical one, especially during the summer.
We invest in you
Each employee is provided with an annual training budget to further their skills in the security space. We pay for certifications and specialized training to enhance your abilities. In the summers, we offer a competitive internship program to expose new minds to holistic security program, risk advisement, hardware, software, and network security.
We've got you covered
We take care of our employees in more ways than one. Our competitive benefits package includes premium medical, dental, and vision coverage for US and supplemental medical for Canadian employees. We also offer paid parental leave, public transit (ORCA), massage therapy, and more. At the office, we provide a plethora of snacks, locally roasted coffee, and ergonomic friendly desks.
If you have the talent and work ethic, you can work anywhere in the world as long as you fit into our time table. Want to move to booming Seattle? We would love to assist you on your journey.
We value our people
We’re serious about sharing in Leviathan’s successes. All employees receive an equity package in the company as part of their total compensation. We also provide annual 401(K) (US) and RRSP (CA) contributions.
We believe that quality time outside the office is vital to our employees’ satisfaction at work. That’s why our flexible PTO plan encourages team members to take time off so they can come back refreshed.
We give back
While not on a project, we encourage our employees to participate in community driven problem solving or open source projects. As part of our employee agreement, products that you create are 100% yours, unless they fall within the scope of client work. For our employee wellness initiative, we plan monthly out of office activities such as distillery tours, escape rooms, and go-karting.
We are looking for bright and independent individuals to join our Technical Services team. Our company continues to pave the way in the security industry through our philosophy and work ethic. We are seeking someone with a passion for rapidly learning new technologies and identifying deviations from industry standard security practices. A lot of the work we do is network and web and mobile application penetration testing, however, we often receive work that represents some of the most unique and novel technologies on the market, ranging from IoT devices to proprietary network protocols.
Senior Security Consultant
We strive to be the top provider for security consulting services worldwide. Our clients consistently build novel and complex technologies that require a high degree of security expertise to assess. We are looking for a seasoned senior security consultant with a tenacious work ethic, exemplary communication skills, and passion to drive security initiatives within our organization and for our clients. A candidate for this position will lead project teams, mentor associate security consultants, escalate project concerns early and often, and lead and contribute to threat modeling dialogues.
Our Managing Consultant role takes a practitioner’s approach to managing and leading project teams. The role allows individuals to exercise their technical skill set while growing into a leadership position. The managing consultant is responsible for defining and leading complex technical engagements through a combination of threat modeling, project management, and mentoring.
Technical Project Manager
Similar to our Managing Consultant role but with a great focus on traditional project management capabilities and less of a requirement on technical execution. Tactically, the Technical Project Manager role is responsible for project planning, communication, and timely delivery of services. Strategically, you will be an agent of change as you identify opportunities to improve our processes and tools.
