October 2026 Mobile Platform Security & Fraud Prevention Assessment

Google commissioned Leviathan Security Group to evaluate fraud protection features on current Android and iOS devices. The assessment focused on built-in fraud safeguards for both physical and digital security along with advanced fraud prevention measures. We performed a similar study late last year on previous generation devices.

In the current assessment, we tested four devices on the T-Mobile network: the Google Pixel 11 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S26, and Razr 2026. Over the course of a month, we evaluated the devices' fraud prevention and security features available to consumers.
